Our clinic uses a CCTV system for the purposes of ensuring the safety of patients, employees and visitors, protecting property, maintaining workplace security and identifying possible incidents.
CCTV recording is carried out only in common and security areas such as the entrance, waiting area, reception area and corridor, in accordance with patient privacy. CCTV recording is not carried out in private areas such as examination, procedure, dressing, changing or restroom areas.
Audio recording is not used in the CCTV system.
The personal data processed consists only of CCTV image recordings. These recordings are processed solely for security purposes and are not used for the provision of healthcare services.
CCTV recordings are processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 on the legal grounds of the legitimate interests of the data controller, compliance with legal obligations, and the establishment, exercise or protection of legal claims where necessary.
Access to CCTV recordings is restricted to authorized persons only. Recordings are not shared with third parties. However, relevant recordings may be shared with authorized public institutions, courts, public prosecutors or law enforcement authorities upon a lawful request.
CCTV recordings are retained for 2 months and are automatically deleted at the end of this period. In the event of a security incident, legal dispute, administrative or judicial application, or official request, only the relevant part of the recording may be retained for the necessary period.
